Interferon-?, Interleukin 1-? and Tumor Necrosis Factor-? levels and Their Association with Lipid and Glycaemic Profiles in Diabetic Mice

The cytokines IFN-?, interleukin IL-1?, and TNF-? each up regulate the expression of major histocompatibility complex (MHC) are therefore considered as inflammatory markers. present study aimed to measure serum levels in mice after induction diabetes with streptozotocin correlate their lipid glycaemic profiles. included 40 Swiss Albino (20 males 20 females), half male female groups were made diabetic by intraperitoneal injection streptozotocin. After 48 hours, INF-?, IL1-? well measured ELISA correlated cytokines, profile, blood glucose insulin. three studied IL 1-? statistically significantly higher among compared control group. Diabetic (M-STZ mice) group showed profile (M-control). Cholesterol level was (F-control) M-control (F-STZ F-Control Regarding levels, there significant linear correlations glycemic (Glucose, insulin) reflected positive correlation negative insulin level.
